Tax Day Treats and Freebies

Tax Day is upon us once again. If you’re a model of efficiency, you’ve long since filed your taxes and can pat yourself on the back today, relax, and/or have a nice dinner with family or friends. If you’ve put things off you can do those things, too; but first, you’ll have to file your taxes — or file for an extension. If you thought you were already late, we have some good news for you! This year, Tax Day falls on Monday, April 18th, 2011, rather than the traditional April 15th so the nation’s capital could celebrate Emancipation Day on the 15th. Now, procrastinators rejoice. Here are some things to look forward to, once you’re done!

IHOP is just one of several restaurants that has a special that can help lighten the load when it comes to taking your family out to eat! If you have children aged 12 or under and they like pancakes (what kid doesn’t?), IHOP is offering a special “Kids Eat Free” promotion; and this deal lasts longer than tax day! Every day in April, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. at participating IHOPs, kids under 13 can enjoy one free meal with purchase of an adult entrée!  Check it out!
