Founded in 2003 with the goal of welcoming and assisting the Italian community in Pittsburgh, Mondo Italiano has become “the” point of reference for anyone passionate about Italy and the Italian culture. The organization offers a variety of different programs: summer camps, language classes, art exhibits, concerts, inter-cultural exchanges, cooking demonstrations, trips to Italy, travel presentations and as well as a library full of material in Italian (magazines, books, DVDs, CDs).

What is ReuseFest?

ReuseFest is a one-day drop off event that diverts materials from local landfills to reuse by Pittsburgh non-profits.

PRC collaborates with a number of local nonprofits including Construction Junction, Global Links, Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, Goodwill, Off the Floor Pittsburgh, the Animal Rescue League and more to provide the public with the opportunity to easily donate items that otherwise may have ended up in the trash.

This year’s ReuseFest is June 13th, 9am to 1pm at UPMC Passavant just north of the City of Pittsburgh.  Check out event details

Build a Load 'n Go Truck



 Learn how to build a Load 'n Go Truck. FREE hands-on workshops; designed for children ages 5 - 12. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
