FREE Irish Hurling Clinic
Tuesdays at 6PM and Sundays at 12PM

Hurling is an ancient Irish field sport, similar to field hockey and lacrosse, with a dash of soccer and baseball. The “sliotar” (ball, similar in size and feel to an American baseball) must be advanced by balancing on or striking with a “hurl” (flat, blade-like, stick), down the field or to a teammate. Scoring is accomplished through either hitting the sliotar through field goal posts for 1 point or soccer net for 3 points. Come to a Pittsburgh Hurling Club clinic to learn the basics! Necessary equipment will be provided for instruction. People of all ages, backgrounds, and gender are welcome.
