Twilight Visit at the Miller Homestead

Volunteers Needed to Help at the

Food Bank’s Fall FoodShare

Fall FoodShare is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for families, groups, scout troops, church groups and organizations that want to make a difference.

Sponsored by the Food Bank, Giant Eagle and Citizens Bank, Fall FoodShare takes place at almost every Giant Eagle supermarket in the region Oct 25 -  Nov 27.

Giant Eagle shoppers can purchase items or make a monetary donation to help feed the hundreds of thousands of seniors, children and families in southwestern Pennsylvania who are experiencing hunger and food insecurity. Each participating store has a specially marked bin to collect the donated items, and many stores will have weekend volunteers, including Girl Scouts, on hand to help. I'll be at the Water Works store on Oct 27!
