Pigeon (III 1/2): a New Play Inspired by Anton Chekhov's The Seagull - May 24-26

In "Pigeon" the characters of Chekhov’s tragi-comedy "The Seagull" are transplanted to the contemporary big city (LGBT representation! Gentrification jokes! And hipsters!) to negotiate the highs and lows of life, love and art.

Events of the play occur between the third and fourth acts of Chekhov’s original drama (hence the III ½ of the title).

Birch Swinger Ensemble is a nano-theatre company founded in Pittsburgh, PA in 2018 by Jeremy Lesifko-Bremer, dedicated to engaging audiences through kinetic new works that explore themes that are both vital to the contemporary moment and timelessly human.
