Habitat for Humanity - Women Build - April 25 - May 10

Each year Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh is one of more than 300 Habitat affiliates nationwide that celebrates National Women Build Week in conjunction with long-time partner Lowe’s. The goal is to challenge and empower women from all walks of life to join together in helping provide Pittsburgh families with decent, affordable homes and repairs.

Women Build is not about excluding men—in fact, men are welcome to participate alongside our women volunteers—it is about celebrating women volunteers and opening new opportunities to them on Habitat jobsites.

This year, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh has been selected to receive a $25,000 grant from Lowe’s to support the rehabilitation of a Pittsburgh home. To receive this grant, Habitat needs to engage 300 volunteers. Find out more
