Observatory SkyWatch Evenings at the Science Center



The Carnegie Science Center invites you to learn about the wonders of the stars and explore globular clusters, nebulas and planets with their 16-inch Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope!

Volunteers from the Amateur Astronomers Association will show you the ropes as you get a spectacular view of outer space…for only $1!

Parking is $5 for non members and $3 for members


 Location: Carnegie Science Center (1st Floor – A guide will lead you to the observatory on the first floor for a mesmerizing view of the Point and Downtown Pittsburgh).
Date: On clear Friday  & Saturday evenings, weather permitting
Time: Times change seasonally depending on when it gets dark
