Mt. Lebanon's Earth Day Celebration

Mt. Lebanon’s 5th Annual Earth Day Celebration at Mt. Lebanon Park is expected to be their best yet.  Join in on Saturday, April 28 from 10am until 2pm for an array of fun and educational events.  This free environmental fair will include over 50 displays and vendors. Along with many regional and township non-profits offering information and demonstrations on saving energy and conserving resources, there will be live music, great food, a farmers market, the I Made It! art and crafts market, kids activities, and much, much more.

Stop by to learn how to raise your own chickens, power your iPod with an energy bike, tie-dye a shirt or check out the newest in electric vehicles.  The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will be in attendance, collecting reusable grocery bags for the Tote BagProject.  Bring along your extra bags, along with items to be recycled.  Check out the Mt. Lebanon Earth Day website for details.
