Pittsburgh Irish Festival - Sept 7-9
Riverplex at Sandcastle

If your knowledge of Irish culture extends only to leprechauns and shamrocks, Pittsburgh's Irish Festival might be a good bet for you.

The 28th annual celebration aims to contribute to the cultural awareness of Irish history and tradition and provide a great time with: Celtic axe throwing, hurling matches, a marketplace, traditional cuisine and beverages and interesting entertainers.

Parking is $7, tickets are $12-35.   Click for more information. Prices may seem a little high but photos show a well-planned event with lots of interesting things to do.
