14th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration
                             Monday, January 18, 3-7 pm

In today’s world our differences still divide us and biases can lead to violence. In tense situations, how can we choose to act non-violently?
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a vision of The Beloved Community - where all are welcome regardless of race, age, identity, expression, or belief. The Beloved Community exists when people join together and actively choose love and nonviolence. This work was just as radical and relevant then as it is today.
Since 2001, Union Project has been using the arts to bridge gaps. Join and continue the work Dr. King started decades ago - creating a community fueled by agape love and nonviolence.

Activities:discussion, group arts activities and a free community meal.  Find out more

The 14th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration is supported by sponsors at Bridgeway Capital, Maher Duessel, PNC Bank, and media sponsors WESA and WYEP.
