July Screening Friday, July 15, from 7 – 9 p.m.

Queen of the Sun: What are the bees telling us?

Get an inside look at the catastrophic disappearance of bees and the mysterious world of the beehive at Phipps’ screening of Queen of the Sun: What are the bees telling us? Praised as “revelatory!” in the New York Times, this film is a profound, alternative look at the global bee crisis that uplifts audiences and weaves together the unique stories of beekeepers, scientists and philosophers from all over the globe. Director Taggart Siegel takes viewers on a journey, revealing both the problems and solutions in renewing a culture in balance with nature.

Post-film discussion will be led by apoidea apiary's principle beekeeper, Christina Neumann.

Attendance to the screenings is free with regular admission, but tickets are required; please pick up your free tickets in the Welcome Center starting at 5 p.m. on the day of the film.
