Saturday Crafternoon

Saturday Crafternoons are free DIY workshops that promote project-based learning, hands-on making, experimentation and community engagement for youth ages 5+. They incorporate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) concepts and may be one-time, take-home projects facilitated by local artists or makers, or longer, community-focused projects. The goals are to empower youth to be confident makers, foster a love of DIY projects, promote connected learning, and activate participants’ interest in their community and city.
