 Frick Friday Features Gallery Talks

French-trained American artist Charles Courtney Curran (1861–1942) is known for his sparkling canvases of women in gardens and other outdoor settings. Curran brought the broken brushstrokes and sun-drenched palette of French Impressionist painting to a distinctly American landscape.

On Fridays thru Jan 30 you can meet Frick curators and educators in the galleries for free talks exploring the works, artists and themes in the exhibition. Programs focus on a different aspect of the exhibition each week.
