Frick Film at Noon: Amélie

Amélie tells the story of a shy young woman who relishes life’s small pleasures, transforming her own life as she quietly brings happiness to those around her. The French language film features the Paris neighborhood of Montmarte, where Edgar Degas and other artists featured in the Frick's current Degas exhibition lived and worked. Though set in modern-day France, the neighborhood retains many of the qualities seen in Degas’ time.  Find out more
