The Moth Mainstage - Aug 27

The Moth returns to Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures Presents with “Don’t Look Back: The Moth in Pittsburgh” on Wednesday August 27, at the Byham Theater.

Called “New York’s hottest and hippest literary ticket” by the Wall Street Journal, The Moth is an acclaimed nonprofit dedicated to the art of storytelling. The Moth has presented more than 10,000 stories by people of all walks of life via stage shows, weekly podcasts, and a Peabody Award-winning radio special, The Moth Radio Hour (broadcast locally on 90.5 WESA). Consistently a sell-out, each Moth Mainstage show features five storytellers, a musician to act as timekeeper, and a charismatic host. Moth Mainstage presents a mix of local and traveling storytellers along with a popular local musician. This year Vanessa German is the local storyteller in the cast. Vanessa is an artist, actress, playwright, sculptor, performer, educator, who lives in Pittsburgh’s historic Homewood.

Tickets are $35 First Floor or  $20 Mezzanine or Gallery  Buy tickets.
