Pittsburgh region home values up 5.9 percent in 2013

Real estate website Zillow shows Pittsburgh region home values with only a moderate increase – making housing still a relatively good buy here vs. the other 35 metro areas included in the survey.
The region’s November Zillow Home Value Index was $118,600, behind only Detroit ($104,700) and Cleveland ($116,200). Zillow’s Rent Index show Pittsburgh and Portland, OR rents tied for highest month-to-month gains.
