Plan your Recycling of Hard-to Recycle Items

 

The Pennsylvania Resources Council collects computers, televisions and other hard-to-recycle items. No charge for computers, televisions, cell phones, printer toner cartridges, compact fluorescent lights, EPS packaging foam (marked No. 6) and polystyrene (new item). 

For a fee you can drop off paper for shredding, alkaline batteries, fluorescent tubes, specialty lights and small appliances containing Freon.

Collections are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at  the places listed below.
• June 8 at Steel City Harley-Davidson, Washington County.
• Aug. 17 at City of Pittsburgh Environmental Services, Strip District.
• Oct. 5 at The Mall at Robinson.
