SkyWatch Evenings

View globular clusters, nebulas and planets with your own eyes at the Carnegie Science Center.  Visit the Henry Buhl, Jr. Observatory to get an up-close look at amazing celestial objects. The observatory’s 16-inch Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope offers great detail of the planets and their expert stargazers can explain exactly what you're seeing.

Viewings are held on clear Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the year, weather permitting.  Session times vary with the season.  Check the website for current viewing times and call the SkyWatch Hotline on the night of the session for the latest information: 412-237-3327.

Meet on the first floor of the Carnegie Science Center at the designated time.
