Toys, Toys, Toys!!

Back in 1974, a group of Pittsburgh parents saw the need for constructive toys for young children along with a safe and welcoming space for them to play.  The Pittsburgh Toy Lending Library was born.  Almost 40 years later, the library is still going strong, lending out toys, educating the community about the importance of play and providing a place for young children and their adults to play together.

With the winter months upon us, the Toy Lending Library is a great place to visit with your child.  Play with the many toys, interact with other children and parents, and select a toy to take home until next time.  A change of venue and plenty of space to play is always welcome during these indoor months.  And for those winter birthdays, the Library can also accommodate parties!

An all-volunteer organization, the Library appreciates volunteers and donations.  Find out more by visiting their website.
