Little Italy Days

Friday, September 23 through Sunday, September 25

One weekend each year Bloomfield invites the world to join in as it proudly proclaims its Italian heritage.  Little Italy Days finds Bloomfield streets animated with mouth watering delicacies, Old World charm and Italian-American spirit.  Festive red and white striped tents house local vendors selling everything from pasta and pastries to Italian pottery and t-shirts.

The family-friendly celebration of Italian-American heritage and culture features live music, entertainment acts, strolling musicians, a bocce tournament, children’s activities, dancing, and a cornucopia of tasty food offerings.  The lively three-day festival culminates on Sunday with a spectacular and dazzling Madonna della Civita procession along Bloomfield’s Liberty Avenue commercial district.  The spirited parade begins at Immaculate Conception Church on Friendship Avenue and winds through the neighborhood to culminate at Saint Joseph Church on Liberty Avenue.

Free Parking! Free Admission!
Little Italy Days features free parking in all metered spaces and metered lots in Bloomfield throughout the weekend.  The festival starts at 11am on Friday and ends at 7pm on Sunday.  Visit Bloomfield Now for a detailed schedule of events.
