A dazzling showcase of fine art quilting at
The Westmoreland Museum of American Art
Circular Abstractions: Bull’s Eye Quilts at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art (thru March 10) transforms the Museum’s large Cantilever Gallery into an oasis of vibrant colors and spectacular quilting mastery. The exhibition features 32 quilts by contemporary artists from across the country. All of the artists’ works build upon or break down the traditional bull’s eye pattern, resulting in something new and uniquely expressive.
This is a great place to take visitors with interests in art and needlework.
