On Monday, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire firefighters from Eight Engine &Truck Company, East Liberty, hosts a chili cook-off at the East Liberty Citiparks Farmers’ Market (in the Station St. & N. Euclid Ave. parking lot). The event runs from 3:30 – 6 p.m. and is sponsored by Giant Eagle Market District and VFW Post 214, with proceeds benefiting a local charity.
Shoppers will have a chance to sample chili for a small donation – and pick up fire safety and prevention information. You can enjoy the regular Farmers' Market fare as well.
Most of the Farmers' Markets continue thru early November. Go to the link
