Run Around the Square - Aug 22

Run Around the Square is now the largest neighborhood footrace in Pittsburgh. It is operated as a fundraiser for local nonprofits supporting the Regent Square Community.  In 2013, the race donated $32,000 to local nonprofits. 

As a participant you will receive a ‘Welcome’ email invitation to the Virtual Goody Bag prior to the event with access to the bag. In the bag you will find an array of valuable information including exclusive offers, coupons, giveaways and messages from  sponsors.After the event, participants will receive a ‘Thank You’ email invitation to visit their bag and have a final opportunity to take advantage of the offers and goodies before the bag closes. Registration must by completed (online!) by August 19. Wine Class on Friday

How many times have you stood in a State Store, staring at shelves of wine bottles, wondering ‘will I like it after I buy it?’ Dreadnought Wines in the Strip District gives wine lovers the opportunity to experience specialty wines before buying them at the First and Third Friday Casual Wine Classes. 

Wine lovers can meet and greet at Casual Wine Classes twice monthly, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Dreadnought Wines store at 2013 Penn Avenue in the Strip District. Events are open to the public - cost is $12.00 per person and no RSVP is necessary. Find out more

Winter's Tale - this Summer

Poor Yorick’s Players are a motley troupe dedicated to entertainment, education and cultural enrichment through the dramatic arts, with specific emphasis on the works of William Shakespeare.

Poor Yorick’s Players perform at the Tall Trees Amphitheater in Monroeville, PA.  All performances are free to the public.
