What is ReuseFest?

ReuseFest is a one-day drop off event that diverts materials from local landfills to reuse by Pittsburgh non-profits.

PRC collaborates with a number of local nonprofits including Construction Junction, Global Links, Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, Goodwill, Off the Floor Pittsburgh, the Animal Rescue League and more to provide the public with the opportunity to easily donate items that otherwise may have ended up in the trash.

This year’s ReuseFest is June 13th, 9am to 1pm at UPMC Passavant just north of the City of Pittsburgh.  Check out event details

Farmers at Phipps
   Wednesdays; 2:30 – 6:30 p.m.
 

Refresh your food shopping experience at the Phipps' weekly market. This farmers’ market brings together community members and local food producers for one of the freshest food shopping experiences in town. Browse a colorful cornucopia of organic and Certified Naturally Grown fruits, vegetables and more. Take Advantage of our Citiparks

All Citiparks Spray Parks open daily 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
Cool off during hot days (late spring - early fall) at Pittsburgh's coolest aquatic facilities—"spray parks!"

You do not need swimming skills to enjoy the spray parks. From the tiniest toddler to a pre-teen adventurer, and even those using wheelchairs, children of all ages and abilities enter with equal enthusiasm.

Build a Load 'n Go Truck

 Learn how to build a Load 'n Go Truck. FREE hands-on workshops; designed for children ages 5 - 12. All kid get to keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Find out more Children must be present at the store to participate and receive the kit, apron and pin. Workshops fill up fast so get there early!
