The Moth - True Stories Told Live

The Moth is an acclaimed not-for-profit organization dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling. It is a celebration of both the raconteur, who breathes fire into true tales of ordinary life, and the storytelling novice, who has lived through something extraordinary and yearns to share it.

Adults-only Sci-Fi spectacular for members! Watch Interstellar in the Science Stage, hang out with Stormtroopers, and snap a photo with a replica Ghosbusters car.
This is for all who have ever wanted to enjoy Carnegie Science Center without having to elbow 8-year-olds out of the way for a chance to compete against the Air Hockeybot or launch a rocket into the air. Live music, cash bars, snacks available for purchase, four floors of exhibits, lots of science fun, and no kids! Youth Naturalist Paleontology Expedition

Registration required by April 24

Expedition Paleontology! Saturday, May 2, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
Go behind the scenes in Paleolab, and use a microscope to sort for fossil finds. Take a field excursion to Schenley Park and learn the tools of geology field work discovering real rocks and fossils that reveal Oakland’s ancient landscapes. Afternoon snack is provided; students must bring their own lunch.
