Keg Ride - April 25th

On April 25th, East End Brewing will set off with a few kegs and hundreds of riders to a mystery destination to debut this year's Pedal Pale Ale. Find out more, especially about the registration.
All proceeds go to ACLD Tillotson School’s job training programs that serve kids with learning disabilities, just graduating from High School. By helping riders find their way to the destination with these kegs, you’re helping young people find their way in the world, and become fulfilled, contributing members of our community.
PARTICULARS:
•Time: 9:30-10:30am sign-in, 11am departure, arrival at destination between 12 and 1pm
•Date: Saturday, April 25th, 2015
•Starting Point: East End Brewing Co. 147 Julius St. Pgh, Pa 15206
•Destination: You’ve gotta ride to find out!
•Return trip: You’re on your own.
•Distance: 6-10 miles
•Pace: Gentle, slow. Remember that part about people pulling a keg?
•Registration: Early Bird $20, Regular Registration $25.
•There is NO Day-of-Ride Registration.

My weather app tells me it's going to be rainy on Saturday so think about an indoor activity.
This week, the gardening and local food-themed workshops continue with activities co-facilitated by the Kincaid Street Community Garden. You'll be building and painting birdhouses and making vegetarian bird suet! Join in for these fun, hands-on activities and learn about carpentry, art, local wildlife, and more. Find out more

Upcoming OLLI Open Houses
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Pittsburgh is a membership-based community of adults, age 50 and better, who are passionate about learning. No tests, no grades, and no degree requirements make the classes the perfect environment for exploring new topics with other interested adults. Membership costs $125 per session/$225 per year for as many classes as you can fit in your calendar.

The Penny Arcade Comedy group offers a unique show created on the spot using your ideas! Before the show, the audience participates in “collaboration stations” to help generate ideas. And after every show there is an option to meet the cast and possibly play a few improv games!
