Join lively discussions of contemporary fiction, non-fiction and other notable books year round (except August) All are welcome. Discussions are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary. The library will usually have copies of the current month’s book available for you to check out at the Ask a Librarian desk on the First Floor.
Discussions are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month, every month of the year from 1 to 2 p.m. and again from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Large Print Room on the 1st Floor of the Main Library.
December’s book selection is Miller’s Valley by Anna Quindlen. Coming of age in a dwindling 1960s farming community in eastern Pennsylvania, Mimi struggles with profound family secrets and the pain of falling in love with the wrong person against a backdrop of dynamic historical periods.
