You can check out more than books at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh!

Whether you're new to the city or have lived here for ages, check the Carnegie Library's website for activities at the location closest to you. You'll find a wide array of activities for youngsters and adults.  See below for just two examples:


 
Pre-K Storytime at the Squirrel Hill location on Mondays at 1:00 PM
Children get up and get moving at the Library with stories, songs, and silly fun  hat is designed to promote language and listening skills, expand imaginations, and arouse curiosity.
  

Recommended for children age 3-5 with their parents and caregivers.

Wise Walk at Woods Run on Mondays at 9:30AM
This program is geared toward adults 50+. Participants will receive a pedometer  and a t-shirt. Walkers walk the neighborhood and record the number of steps they take each week.  During inclement weather, walks are inside.
