Register Now for the 2012 Great Race!

Registration is open for the 35th running of the Great Race, set for Sunday, September 30, 2012.  The Great Race, established in 1977 as a 10K race by the late Mayor Richard S. Caliguiri, has grown to include a 5K run/walk, running clinic, two-day exposition and children’s race.

The Great Race is largest 10K race in Pennsylvania and the 10th largest in the nation.  The increasingly popular 5K run/walk option makes it accessible to individuals of all ages and athletic abilities.

A new fee structure for 2012 encourages runners and walkers to register early and bring a friend.  Now through July 31, registration is $25 per person or $40 for two.  Registration will go up to $30 per person on August 1st.
